Beginners Drawing: The Basics
Practical course to refine drawing abilities using pencils, charcoal and ink and to learn how to create values and interpret 3D objects.
 
Drawing With Pastels: Beginners
Pastel has multiple possibilities and allows students to be fluid between drawing and painting and increase expressive qualities.

Figure Drawing 
Introduction to basic and anatomical drawing fundamentals. Emphasizes accurate portrayal of the undraped figure. Various drawing materials are used to investigate anatomical study and pictorial composition
 
Art Making and Mindfulness
Through exercises in mindfulness, sketch journaling, and expressive art-making, students discover the connection between creative activities and well-being. Each class begins with setting an intention and performing a warm-up exercise. Playing with paint, drawing, collage and a variety of other mediums will help students discover their creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment. 

Humanities and Languages AVID Tutor
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a four-year elective course offering college-bound students the opportunity to participate in small group collaborative inquiry sessions to further academics and critical thinking.
